Born a craftsman, Ken started a joinery & carpentry apprenticeship in 2000. After becoming a Registered Building Practitioner in 2009, he established his own building & joinery business in Stawell.
Ken's ability to see potential and love for precision is the foundation of
Dawn moved to Stawell from Bath, England in 2010.
Having studied Art & Design in England, she joined the building industry after marrying Ken, our builder.
Exploring the latest Australian trends with an anchored English influence, Dawn is all about design that stands the test of time.
Joining the team in 2013, Hayden qualified in April 2017 with Cert 3 in Carpentry.
During his 4 year apprenticeship, Hayden's talents shone in our Joinery shop revealing a skilled joiner with an eye for precision.
Dave, the Kiwi, moved to Australia in 2005, as a keen rock climber he was drawn to the Grampians, and although he no longer climbs, is passionate about the region.
He has lived and worked in different towns including Broome, Warrnambool and Horsham in both commercial and residential construction.
He now calls Halls Gap home where he lives with his wife and young family. Dave is a passionate carpenter and that is reflected in his work.
Zac started his 4 year Cert 3 in Carpentry Apprenticship with us in Aug 2016.
After seeing his interest back in 2013, when we completed his parents home extension, we were keen for him to join the team. Now with only 1 year until qualified, Zac is well on the way to becoming a great tradie.
Owen joined our team in Jan 2017 after having worked in Ballarat as a sub-contractor on a variety of projects within the area.
With a long history in the Grampians region, Owen has now returned, where he lives with his wife and assists on his parents farm.
Being a quality tradesmen, he is eager and equipped to take on any sized job from start to finish. With a strong work ethic and great sense of humour, Owen is a pleasure to have on your jobsite.
Renee moved to the Grampians from Melbourne in 2011 to be with her husband.
A graphic & web designer with a background in furniture and interiors, Renee is excited to get back into the industry, share her experience and help plan your projects at SALTWOOD build.
